Pneumohydraulic Drives

• Applications for Type S include any forming and joining operation

For the Type EL, suitable applications include punching and press-fit operations. A third type, the Model S .50, has a power stroke adjustment feature – with this adjustment, the power stroke travel can be adjusted independently of the cylinder’s total stroke. An S .50 application would be the marking of ID numbers to the same exact depth, regardless of variations or fluctuations in the thickness of the part being stamped.

Standard Series S

Used in applications when a small working cylinder is required or where limited space is available. System includes an ES Pressure Intensifier, an HZ hydraulic cylinder or AT working cylinder, pneumatic hoses, and hydraulic hoses with Hydrosplit coupling. Up to six hydraulic cylinders or working cylinders can be connected to a single intensifier. The complete KT system is delivered already filled with oil, but components are shipped separately and pre-arranged for easy hookup with the Hydrosplit coupling.

System KT

• Many variants of the standard compact version are possible
• Applications include any joining and forming operation

Type K and EK with air spring option can be used in applications such as press fit and punching operations.

Compact Series K

• Turbo air to oil cylinder
• Operating air pressure up to 145 psi
• Capacity up to 13.5 tons; specifically defined end positions because of integrated internal positive stops

Turbo Series T

• Air to oil marking cylinder, also referred to as the universal cylinder
• Operating air pressure up to 145 psi
• Specifically defined end positions as a result of integrated internal positive stops
• Spring activated fast approach
• Non-rotating working rod featuring an integrated clamping collet to accept marking tools (such as a marking head)
• Capacity up to 16.8 tons

Marking Cylinder Series RP

• Guaranteed for 10 million strokes within one year without any shift limitations
• Pure pneumatic operation (hydraulic unit not needed)
• Controlled like any double acting pneumatic cylinder (making it easy to handle)
• Defined positive stop with damping in BDC, which is ideal for force fitting, stamping, and related operations
• Virtually any mounting position possible because of the pretension of the oil reservoir through the use of a compression spring
• High stroke frequency
• High wear resistance because of utilization of latest seal technology and few moving parts
• Very low air consumption
