Electronic Pressure Switch ZDO

The oil pressure in the high pressure chamber of the TOX Powerpackage is registered in the electronic pressure switch as the system pressure and displayed by a 4 digit LED display. The pressure switch features a ceramic sensing element with a diaphragm. As the pressure is applied to the diaphragm, the distance decreases, increasing the capacitance value. A freely programmable microprocessor controls the signal output.
Depending on the selected mode, two output signals are generated. With the help of the programming buttons, the following parameters can be set: the setpoint, the resetpoint (in 1% increment over full scale), the corresponding time delays (from 0 to 50 sec.), switch functions for the output, damping, and open or closed modes. In addition, a window programming is also possible. The pressure switch ZDO can be installed in a matter of a few minutes. The programmed values are safely stored in the EPROM independent of the supply voltage.
For switch ZDO-01-400A, the second setpoint can be additionally set at 4-20mA or 0-10V.

Additional programming menu:

• LED unit display (bar, psi, Pa)
• Switching logic (PNP, NPN)
• Peak hold
• LED-display can be flipped 180°
• LED display can be turned off

In addition, a malfunction signal is displayed if:

• system pressure > 10% of max. nominal pressure
• a short circuit occurs in switch output 1 or switch output 2
