+ The TOX-Powerpackage has ecological benefits by using energy just when needed

+ The oil is only inside the system. It is rarely exchanged or filled up. There are almost no costs for the disposal of the used oil. 60 million cycles without any leakage are common.

- The hydraulic cylinder needs a permanent supply of a constant oil pressure

- The aggregate has to be maintained often and regularly.

- The disposal of big amounts of old oil is expensive

- The filter has to be exchanged and requires service. Also on the heat exchanger

+ The pneumohydraulic drive needs no expensive hydraulic supply system. The compressed air is a cheap system, because no expensive equipment is needed and even a leakage is no big deal.

- The delivery time of hydraulic supply systems is often very long.

+ In many cases the stroke to close the tooling is longer than the power stroke. The TOX-Powerpackage makes this move with a pneumatic fast approach. (Also the return stroke).

- The hydraulic cylinder has the same power and speed at any point of the complete stroke. This extends the whole cycle time.

+ With a special control, it is also possible to close the tooling to a mid-position when a long stroke is needed for access, and do multiple short strokes, e.g. clinching joints, and then do a fast return stroke to remove the part easily. TOX-Controls
