Small elements with a strong hold

In every flat material, elements such as nuts, studs, bolts, screws and others can be pressed in. For years now we specialise in the field of inserting functional elements and to offer our enormous know-how to customers. 

 

In the past functional elements were often welded to a bigger piece part. Inserting them by pressing in gives various advantages:

  • Fast and reproducable processes
  • Energysaving procedere
  • Automatic feeding of the elements

Although there are a big variaty of functional elements, concerning the insertion it comes down to 3 basic elements:

  • Pierce elements, which are inserted into a existing hole
  • Rivet elements which "clamp" themself into the metal when being inserted
  • Self-piercing elements, which cut their own hole

All inserting technologies have one thing in common: they all need feed-in and placing-systems so the elements find their way from the bag into the right place.
